Managing Director
Mr. S.M. Khaled, the Founder and Managing Director of SNOWTEX, is a visionary entrepreneur driven by honesty, commitment, and a passion for social welfare. He completed his post-graduation in Management from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. During his student life, he actively engaged in journalism and social initiatives, working as a Staff Reporter for The Nation Today and contributing to various welfare organizations, including ADHUNIK, ASWA, and MRA. Notably, he led a 264 km anti-smoking campaign walk from Dhaka to Chittagong in 1987, receiving a certificate of recognition from the President of Bangladesh.
Mr. Khaled began his career with “Bishwa Sahitya Kendra” as a Coordinator, later gaining experience in merchandising within the garment industry. His entrepreneurial journey began in 1997 through several partnership ventures, eventually leading to the establishment of SNOWTEX in 1998. Starting as a small accessories supplier, SNOWTEX soon expanded into apparel manufacturing, securing partnerships with international brands such as Berne Apparel (USA) and Richlu Manufacturing (Canada).
Under his leadership, SNOWTEX has grown from a modest operation into a family of over 23,000 members. His commitment to sustainability led to the creation of SNOWTEX, a LEED Platinum-Certified green factory, recognized for excellence in occupational health and safety.
Mr. Khaled continues to inspire through integrity, innovation, and a deep sense of responsibility toward people and the planet.
